3Food4U Thanks West Hatch for their donations.
West Hatch High School and St Thomas' Church praised for Harvest Festival donations.
An emergency food agency has expressed its thanks for Harvest Festival donations it has received which will enable it to further support local communities.
3Food4U works in partnership with schools and churches across Epping Forest district who assign vulnerable families to it without the need for any burdensome paperwork, referral or assessment.
The charity was particularly impressed by the student council at West Hatch High School for organising a considerable Harvest Festival donation.
Teacher Teresa McGrath said: “It makes me very proud of our West Hatch students for stepping up and making a difference in the community.”
3Food4U was also blessed by the very generous donation of food and fundraising by the congregation St Thomas' Church, Upshire.
It thanked the team vicar of St Thomas’, Rev Jane Yeadon, for organising it.
Both donations were very gratefully received and will support local communities in the coming weeks and months.
