Schools holds Sixth Form open evening
Hundreds of prospective West Hatch High School Sixth Form students and their parents attended the school's Sixth Form Open Evening (Wednesday, November 6).
It was a vibrant evening with current students showing off what they have learnt and providing parents and prospective students with the advice and guidance to help them make the right decisions for their futures.
Senior School ambassador Daniel Adekanle and Year 12 student Amy Fitch followed speeches from Headteacher Daniel Leonard and Assistant Headteacher Victoria Schaefer, speaking eloquently about their experiences since joining the Sixth Form and why they knew it was the right place for them.
Mr Leonard said: "I really believe we offer something very unique at West Hatch. Not only do we have consistently strong outcomes year on year but our curriculum enables all students to select subjects that both build upon their own interests and meet their needs academically.
"We are very proud of our Sixth Form, it has been well established for over 30 years and it provides the very best possible education for the students that attend here, whether they moved from Year 11 at our school or came to us from another school.
"Everyone in the Sixth Form very quickly becomes part of the West Hatch family."
