Staff and students compete in West Hatch High School Bake Off final

West Hatch High School has held the grand final of its annual Bake Off competition with entrants set the challenge of baking 12 Viennese fingers and a Victoria sandwich cake.


 

West Hatch High School has held the grand final of its annual Bake Off competition with entrants set the challenge of baking 12 Viennese fingers and a Victoria sandwich cake.

Each team consisted of a student and staff member representing their Houses.

The student had to bake the cake and the member of staff the biscuits.

Year 8 student Imogen Stephens was judged the 'star student baker' and Rachael Minister the 'star staff baker'.

The Roddick House team - student Imogen Stephens and catering assistant Debbie Knowles - and took the overall prize.
