Athletes at West Hatch High School took part in the Year 7 and 8 Essex Schools Cross Country Championships at Stubbers Activity Centre, Upminster.

The event brought the cross country season to an end as more than 60 of the best cross country schools across Essex took part in the event.

Each contest involved 300 to 400 runners.

The highest ranked West Hatch students were Olivia Roberts (Year 7) who was placed 56th and Maddie Fitch (Year 7) 79th.
