Students at West Hatch High School have again performed exceptionally well at GCSE level, following on from a long line of successful year groups before them. 

With some outstanding results across departments and the school as a whole so many pupils can now progress into the school's Sixth Form. 

More than 70 per cent of students achieved the threshold for combined GCSE English and Mathematics, results which will undoubtedly once again be significantly above the national average.

Headteacher Daniel Leonard is delighted with the results. 

He said: "At an extremely turbulent time for schools within the current education system and the first time through the new examinations for many of our subjects, I am very pleased that the school has maintained its high standards, and that students have gained the building blocks for the next stage of their educational career. 

"I’d like to wish all of our students a huge congratulations and personally thank the staff for their hard work and commitment."

years."

Not only will the students commence their A Levels and Vocational courses but they will also have the opportunity to undertake work placements, shadowing, internships, the Extended Project qualification, the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme and the Global Young Leaders Programme.

They will also have the chance to trek and travel to remote corners of the globe with Camps International, all resulting in them leaving West Hatch with the confidence, skills and excellent results enabling them to compete with the best.
