West Hatch holds Bake Off competition

Students at West Hatch High School have been challenged to show off their culinary skills in The Great West Hatch Bake-Off competition.

The competition was the biggest whole school House event to be held this year with entries from across all areas of the school. Organised by the Heads of House, The Bake-Off was an inclusive event and something everyone could get involved in regardless of ability.

The theme for their baked entries was ‘Showstopper’ with the best three from each House awarded gold, silver and bronze winners. The judging panel then went on to decide an ultimate winner for the school's ‘Star Baker’.

The ultimate winner created a 'North Pole cake'.

Each gold, silver, bronze and star baker will meet headteacher Daniel Leonard in the New Year for their ‘Paul Hollywood’ hand shake, to be congratulated and receive their prizes.
